Grymm Ramblings
Hi folks! Considering its been a good number of months since last we did this and we've got a number of new commenters and readers since then, its time once again for the Voodoo Walrus Reader Poll! Just answer in the comments below and we'll make notes on what you guys are liking and not liking and such. After all, as one of our many catchphrases go; "We do it all for you!" (Well, we do it for the sake of amusing ourselves. Its just entertaining others amuses us anyway.) Onwards: 1. Which VW character is your favorite? 2. Which VW character do you just outright hate the most and wish would either disappear completely or get brutally removed from continuity? 3: Are there any characters you'd like to see become more prominent or at least get more "screen time"? If so, who? 4: Doesn't it suck that they STILL haven't released the 28 season DVD box set of the old Blondestar cartoon from the 80's? Yet they've REMADE Magical Mountain Ponies. No justice in this world. 5: Who's more awesome: Napoleon the talking, floating pygmy cow, or Professor Kaboodles, science-y house-badger extraordinaire? 6: What's been your favorite major Voodoo Walrus storyline? This goes for the arcs that are more than just a couple of pages. So more like Meatnecks and Boomsticks or Academy Award Winning Comic or The Greasy Spoon. 7: Is there a particular storyline or series of pages that you just didn't enjoy at all? Why? (No, the CreepKnight and Crow strips don't count as a storyarc.) 8: Are there any themes, elements, dangling plotlines, or other vague things in the Voodoo Walrus world that you'd like to see explored in greater detail? 9: What's the one thing that despite everything, just leaves you completely baffled and confused when it comes to Voodoo Walrus? That one element that no matter how many times you've reread the archives, you still can't make sense of it? 10: Rook, Dr. Eichholtz, the satyr/goatman guy who took over Rook's room, and Mass and Maggie are all characters who existed way before Voodoo Walrus existed, but fit into the same overall world. Do you like the idea of us incorporating more of our extended world into Voodoo Walrus as long as it makes sense and never over powers the core story of Grymm and CreepKnight and the primary cast? 4: That does suck but I’m still miffed we’ll never see any Pirates of Darkwater on DVD because they never finished a first season.

6: I like it all though the arc where we meet Marron was epic.

9: The FBI Files… I can’t recall any of the characters reminiscing about what seems like events I’d definitely look back fondly on.
10: Yes. I like seeing the beings/people/events that lend depth to this comic’s universe.

to clarify my #2 it’s because the idea of that growing up is utterly terrifying. I think as long as you have a use for a character they should live.

now that i’ve finished reading all the past issues of VW, and about 85% of the comments also, i suppose i can do the questionnaire and it won’t be months or even years too late to do any good. It took me the better part of the weekend, a bottle of Visine kept on ice, and a cpl of pizza deliveries to get it done. now i’m scared (for life, most likely). things will never be the same, EVER!! I’ll have to check in twice a week for the rest of my life, just so i can see wtf u guys r up to. make sure that u r keeping some kind of [uneasy] balance in the world. soooooo… Carry On, Sirs!!! u have my approval!

I shall not plot your death for not liking Rook!. That is reserved for someone else. But the main two are both very funny and not everyone can like Grymm. And sometimes Creepknight is just as crazy. Like in the hobogeddon arc. Seriously, we need a repeat of that.

It is an excellent comic with great artwork and a VERY funny artist. Who has a most excellent beard when he grows it out. In the archive is also all the guest strips and strips from other websites that have to do with S*P’s various crossovers. I hope you like it!
