Flashback! 1: The Exile 2

Grymm Ramblings

Well, outside of a couple comments there didn't seem to be a lot of opinion one way or the other concerning the style of the flashbacks. So we're going full on filter. If you want to see the pure colors, you can check them out at my personal Deviant Art page under my Grymm Grymmowski handle. Just take note. Nothing else to report. I need to get back to commissions and too many emails in need of answering.

  1. That can’t be Grymm. The hairs too short. But sepia filter works well for the drama and story telling.

    1. Ah! But how much of it is pooling on the floor at his feet?

  2. Dear god…… Grymm is really cousin It? When will the horror/wonder end?!?!? And how does one get into that damned vault? It just a bunch of chains!

    1. That’s nothing. Remember Wednesday? A smoking habit, severe brain damage and a sex change later and Rook! came to be.

      1. Still doesn’t answer how I get into the damn vault.

      2. And it’d take a hell of a lot more than severe brain damage to turn Wednesday’s personality into Rook!’s personality.

  3. I gotta say creepknight you look absolutely adorable. I just won to squeeze you until those giant anime eyes pop out of your skull.

    1. Hands down the cutest thing I’ve ever drawn.

  4. Okay… gotta admit.. never thought I would say this about anything to do with Voodoo Walrus (no offense) but that is the cutest thing I have seen all freaking week. After the horrible thoughts of Crack and Mumbles the porn star adventures with guest apperences by Herr Creepknight this… is MORE then welcome.

    1. I have to agree with you. I too never though there would be a day that Voodoo Walrus was adorable but here it is. But you know what this means now, with the cute factor added to the already awesome power of the Walrus that means that they can take over the world…or destroy it (again). Look at that the Mayans were right.

      1. We already promised ourselves that we wouldn’t destroy the world until at very least we became more popular than the webcomics we hate and have had a chance to hit a big con and party with Ursula Vernon and Kevin Sonney, Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman, or at very least the That Guy With the Glasses reviewers we enjoy (namely the Snob, Spoony, and Diamanda Hagan.)

  5. I think the cutest thing in this comic is Grymm, because he’s too small for his hair and is wearing glasses!

  6. Did CreepKnight ever really talk like that btw?

    1. Pretty much. He spent years hiding his accent so that he sounds the way he does now. Though the accent does still surface when he’s had a few drinks.

      1. The German language too. Scares the hell out of people at bars.

        1. Remember that night with the absinthe at the club? You tried asking that worn down looking priest if you could bum a cig and he thought you were possessed?

Still can’t believe he tried to bless his gin and tonic and toss it at you.

        2. Sounds like a good Saturday night. Mine usually end with the drunken priest trying to “Send me back to Hell”.

        3. Any chance at all that this story can somehow be manifested into a story arc?

        4. Sounds like a fun outing. I wish it was German that I spewed when I get tipsy. Instead I start insulting people in Portuguese and get accused of making up a language because Spanish does sound like that. On the plus side it sounds pretty so no one ever thinks your calling them foul names and priests dont fling drinks at me…well not for what I’m saying any way. Apparently if you ask them for the number for the universal complaint hotline because God has a lot of explaining to do they can kick you out of church.

        5. Eh I haven’t had to go back to church since explaining to my parents that anyone who hated my friends and fundamental parts of who I am that much wasn’t getting a chance to hold my head under water. Before that it had been because I won a fistfight with the decon’s son when I was 5 and they were still bitter, but then they moved.

  7. While I like the way you put the comics in an olden style tone, I can’t help but notice a typo. Driving me insane…

In the comic, I think it’s “you poked a hole in it”, not “whole”. Sorry, but it had to be said. Tis like OCD for spelling and Grammar, I have.

Keep up the good work, Sir Grymm and Sir Creepknight!
