Grymm Ramblings

So last month I did the whole selling art at a vendor table for the first time in like a decade. That was neat.

It was at an RPG social event put on One Eyed Jacques, a local gaming store. Honestly, I didn't think I'd get in since none of what I do is RPG centric, but I guess a monster making art wizard is close enough.

It was nice. Sold a little merch. Had a LOT of business cards taken. Made a ton of notes on how better to do things next time. I remembered just enough about running a table to have a basic set up, but ye gods the hurdles I dragged my way over to make it happen.

So now I'm keeping more of an eye out for local cons and shows and markets to get in on. Right now I've got my eyes set on returning to Ravencon for the Artist's Alley and maybe trying to get in on the Alley at Galaxycon as well.

I'm hoping by that time I'll have been able to put together some print collections of the Walrus for sale along with some other neat things.

Concerning the here and now, we draw ever closer to the end of this story arc and the return to present day of Voodoo Walrus shenanigans. I am as excited as I am anxious over not being able to pull it off.

Between us, CK and I always referred to what's to come as "Phase 2". It sounded epic and mysterious as he cobbled together our thoughts and bullshit. Honestly it feels more like a Phase 3 though if you consider the Black and White Era to be phase 1 with it's weird nonsense. Everything since then has been a phase 2 with more chunks of story and lore. Everything from here on will be... a whole thing. Stick around. You'll see.
