Hey long time readers, is all the Rip abuse oddly satisfying? I sure think it is.
And yes that page title is a reference.
A couple of callbacks of interest here:
We got confirmation on this page that Vensik has been abroad for a hot minute and is already paving the way for The Plan.
Those Grymmowski Family Robots last appeared in the Second Flashback arc. That was also the point where we got our one and only look at Grymm's parents; Mikol and Hildy Grymmowski. There's actually a a tidbit of of info about them to be gleaned from the two Field Notes of Professor Mikol Grymmowski entries over on the VW Patreon.
The page is currently being roughed out. Right now I'm predicting that we're look at five or six more pages and we'll be done with this arc.

This was pre-cellphones wasn’t it? Grymm’s parents got an internet connection? There’s no way Node doesn’t have an emergency IRC set up for the group.

Also, I’m with Grymm. At the very least a blood ritual would be cathartic.

This was definitely before widespread cell usage. Also things get wonky when you throw in the interference caused by Eichholtz’ fuckery with that barrier around East Dakota. But Node does have a contingency we’re about to see in the next couple of pages.
